At about 2:05 P.M. on Friday, October 28th, there was an accident involving a bicyclist and a car at the intersection of Bushard Street and Myna Lane.
It appears that the unidentified male bicyclist was traveling south in the bike lane against traffic on the east side of Bushard Street. He was then hit by a car that was turning right onto Bushard going north from Myna Lane.
His bike ended up in the middle of the street and it appeared as though the bicyclist was not wearing a helmet.
The bicyclist didn’t appear to have sustained serious injuries, although emergency personnel lifted him onto a stretcher and took him to the hospital around 2:15 P.M.
