Looking for great way to kick off this holiday season? Check out the 19th annual Festival of Lights located in the heart of downtown Riverside, a five week –long event famous for its dazzling lights at night and numerous entertainment options for family and friends! This life-like transformation of the Mission Hotel Inn area is sprinkled with snow, music, and the spirit of Christmas.
Activities will be available at noon and the famous “Switch-On Ceremony” begins right when it turns dark. Prepare to be amazed by the millions of lights illuminating the hotel area and dazzling fireworks lighting up the night sky. The Mission Hotel Inn and Spa is in the center of the event, coated with bright bulbs and decorations.
To add to the creative and unique event, guests can participate in fun activities such as ice skating in an outdoor rink, riding in a horse-drawn carriage browsing through vendors, shopping at various stores, and of course, eating! Live entertainment will also be provided for everyone and all this can be done in Main Street Riverside. Guests of all ages can enjoy what the Festival of Lights has to offer, including meeting Santa Claus.
