Attention 9th, 10th and 11th grade students, the Baron Games may be over but the competition continues as we prepare for CA Standards tests and attempt to achieve our school API target goal.  Ever since the inception of the state API scoring system Fountain Valley High School has held the top score in the district and we want to continue the tradition.  This year we are striving for a record high score of 890. If we achieve the 890 or higher score target goal we will have a reverse modified day schedule for Halloween next year and will give every student on campus ice cream in celebration.  As we have done in the past, during the test days of May 22 and 23, we will raffle off prizes in every class for students getting to school on time and putting forth their best effort on the exams.   Good luck to every student as we aim for a school record score and demonstrate our pride as Barons for Life.

To round out International Week, we will be breaking the world record for the Macarena today at lunch.  The current record is 2212 by some kids in the UK, so we need every student and staff member to come to the bowl and bring the record to FV!
