On Tuesday March 27th, our Barons swim team went up against the highly ranked Chargers in a dual meet at Edison High School. Edison boys swept Fountain Valley 39-131 and girls 73.5-94.5.
Despite the grueling competition, our girls won the 200-yard free relay by a body length ahead of Edison. In the 200-yard free, Jaime Dang (’13) was edged by Edison’s Kylie Boyce and was followed by Jennifer Schulman (’13) touching 3rd. Jaime Dang also won the 200-yard individual medley. Taylor Johnson (’12) won the 100 free to keep the Barons within 5 points of the Chargers.
Next week, the Barons will attend the annual Klaus Barth Invite and will have their second home meet of the season against Marina on Thursday.
