Last week, two Fountain Valley standouts traveled to Orlando, Florida for the 2012 Junior Nationals swim meet.
Rising Junior, Jaime Dang, touched a 52.76 in the 100-yard free to get 100th place out of 269. She also touched 53rd place out of 267 in the 100-yard fly with a time of 56.79.
Graduating senior, Taylor Johnson, sprinted through prelims with a qualifying time of 23.77 in the 50-yard free. In the finals, she placed 22nd posting a time of 27.12 in the 50-meter free. Last year, she placed 5th at CIF-SS Division 1 meet and will shoot for gold this year.
Both of these Lady Barons are swimmers to watch this season at dual meets, Klaus Barth Invitational, Sunset League finals, and CIF-SS.
