On April 27th, ASB hosted Fountain Valley’s first annual Culture Fair. In spite of doubts leading up to the event, there was a huge turnout of students, parents, teachers and community members coming together to have fun and celebrate Fountain Valley’s cultural diversity.
Wontons, gyros, chocolate fondue, and Korean barbecue were among the many food items sold. Clubs also sold henna tattoos, face paint and balloons, while a live band, lion dance number and Polynesian dancers added fun and ambiance to the cultural atmosphere.
According to Justine Bui (‘14), “The culture fair was much better than I expected. It really kicked off the weekend!”
