Once you step into the restaurant, it’s hard to miss their quote painted over the bar – “In Here, It’s Always Friday!” T.G.I.Friday’s is a one-of-a-kind restaurant with a wide variety of foods, and you’ll be sure to find something for everybody, from salads and soups, to burgers, ribs, pasta, and seafood. They also sport kids’ meals and provide a homey environment for a meal with friends and family.

T.G.I. Friday’s is a famous casual-dining, chain restaurant all over the U.S. as well as the U.K. Before even walking in, you get to see the familiar sign, “T.G.I.F.,” surrounded by the red and white stripes. The brass railings outside and old décor of the door and windows were a nice touch, that helped define the ambiance of the restaurant.

Our waiter was a loud and jolly man, though he acted a little too informal, referring to some of us as “the other one”. We each chose to get the “2 for 10 deal,” which lets someone select entrées with either a (selected) appetizer or dessert for just $10.

It took a reasonable amount of time for the first appetizers to start coming out, and both the buffalo wings (served with ranch and celery) and the potato wedges (flat and covered in cheese and bacon served with sour cream and onion) were delicious. Even though the aroma of the bruschetta pasta was intoxicating, its taste fell short and the pieces of chicken served with it were too largely cut and dry.

The desserts were delectable, and made up for the slightly disappointing meal, especially the “Brownie Obsession” plate. The brownie was warm with a scoop of vanilla on top and the whole thing was drizzled in caramel. Not only was the sight exactly as it was shown on the menu, it tasted even better.

Overall, The T.G.I. Friday’s experience was a great one. The staff was attentive and excellent, with no major complaints, and the food was (mostly) delicious and inexpensive.
