On Wednesday, October 3, Barons Varsity field hockey played Westminster High School’s Lions in a 1-3 loss. FV held strong in the first half, leaving the score at a 0-0 tie. Unfortunately ten minutes into the second half, the Lions scored a goal then two more all within the second half. However in the last two minutes of the game, junior Vivian Bayless scored FV’s first goal. Throughout the entire game, goalie sophomore Ryann Callaghan made spectacular saves including dives to keep the Lions at bay.
