Fountain Valley chapter FBLA attended their annual conference last Saturday at University High School in Irvine. There, schools from all over Southern California competed in various business categories.
Some competitors took individual and team tests, and others competed in presentation events for Job Interview, Public Speaking, or Creed.
Fountain Valley brought back six total awards. Adrien Ha, Sheshanna Pham, and Emily Lam qualified for the state competition. In addition, Fountain Valley won first place in the name tag competition.
“Being my first year in FBLA, I found the competition rather straightforward. I competed in Global Business, which was not that hard, although I didn’t place. I’m looking forward to next year’s conference in anticipation,” says Trang Le (‘14).
