Last Tuesday, almost 200 FVHS students visited Orange Coast College to explore the school’s activities, clubs, and tour the campus.
With multiple booths set up, people dressed in costumes, and greeters for every school, OCC Senior Day was more than welcoming. There were tours set up for the Photography buildings, the recycling center, the library, and other parts of the campus.
Tyler Ratzlaff (’13) said, “I really enjoyed the tours that they offered. I went on the photography one, and it gave me a great glimpse of what I will be doing there in the future.”
Guidance counselors and teachers sat in different booths, offering advice as well as initiating conversations about the spirit of the school in general.
OCC senior day provided students with the opportunity to explore their options for the future. “It really was a great experience,” said Matt Pocta (’13). “I learned a lot about the school and now have more of an idea of what I would want to do there.”
GWC has their Senior Preview day March, 7th.
