Fountain Valley’s track and field team faced off against Wilson High School in a practice meet to prepare for the upcoming season on Tuesday, March 5.
Amber Bragdon (’14) led the charge in the frigid weather by winning the 1600 meter even with a time of 5:18.
“It was okay…I wanted a better time but since it is the beginning of the season it’s a pretty good place to start,” said Bragdon.
The next dual-meet will be at Huntington Beach High School against the Oilers.
“I’m very excited for the upcoming track season. Girls and Boys are favored to win the Sunset League,” said coach Brian Bivens.
