Boys baseball defeated Newport Harbor 13-3 yesterday. Monty Plattner, JT Cobb and Scott Schultz held Newport to 3 runs. Plattner is 7 and 0 on the season, and Daniel Patzlaff continued to lead the Barons offense with his 5th home-run in the last 3 games. Daniel also had 4 RBI’s.
Brock Lundquist went 3 for 4 with a home-run. John Shattles, Jordan Lucio and Justin Brand all had two hits a piece. The Barons are 19 and 1 overall and are in 1st place in the Sunset League with an 8 and 0 record.

“I have just been playing with a lot of confidence lately and hopefully I can keep it up for the rest of the season.” -Patzlaff
