The cafeteria is looking for candidates to work during the lunch hours and morning shifts.
Working in the cafeteria provides a way to earn money during the school year without having to go off campus. The cafeteria pays minimum wage per hour. This totals to about $80 a month, depending on how much you work during the week.
“We are looking for people who are outgoing, smart, and have good judgement. We make sure that they can pass a simple little math quiz, and make sure that their schedules don’t conflict with our own because the kitchen is always busy,” said Valerie, who is the food director at FVHS.
If you are interested in applying, see Valerie in the cafeteria for further details.
Just a correction:
Students who work for the cafeteria do NOT get a free food, they receive an hourly wage. Only students who qualify for the free/ reduced meal program will receive their meals.
