FVHS’s CSF, also known as the California Scholarship Foundation, organized a social at the Mangiamo Gelato Caffe last Friday.
“CSF wanted to express their appreciation for Mangiamo Gelato Caffe as they sponsored our S(hair) the Love event,” said board member Elise Dang (’14).
The club hosted S(hair) the Love in the school cafeteria on March 15 to help fund cancer research, an event that turned out to be a success.
“The owner commented how busy that afternoon was because of our business,” Treasurer Mimi Chen(’14) stated. “I would definitely recommend the place to my friends because of its delightful treat and friendly service.”
CSF members came to eat gelato from 4-6PM. Many of the members walked to the place after school because it was nearby.
Justin Le (’14) added, “I thought the event was a great way to show the club’s support for local businesses in Fountain Valley. By showing support in donating money for the club’s S(hair) the Love event, it was nice for us to return the favor by getting gelato and supporting their business. The caffe is close to school, and I will most definitely come back again to try more flavors!”
