FVHS worked together as a school to set the world record for the most participants in a Harlem Shake video at the second annual Baron Games.
With an estimated 3,800 Barons dancing together, they clearly defeated the attempted record by Los Alamitos led by former vice principal Mr. Arnold.
Not only did FVHS beat Los Al’s record, the school’s video has gone viral with over twenty thousand views in just six days. This video has also been featured on famous radio station KIIS FM’s Facebook page.
“Honestly, I just thought it was going to have a small reaction on Facebook and die out in a couple days… and now we definitely see the payoff from it,” said Tue Duong (’14) who helped film and co-edit the video.
Baron Games is a week when school spirit is at an all-time high, tied with Edison week, and even popular regional radio stations that have millions of listeners have recognized our enthusiasm and love for our school.
