Hey Barons….Are you ready for some FootballCome out today to catch the Baron Spring Football Game here @ FV! All students and staff in attendance will receive a FREE hot dog, chips and a drink! We will also be shooting out some Loud Crowd shirts! So come out to the field at 4:00, this Wednesday, and catch a glimpse of the boys of fall!
Attention all students who applied for AP US History. There will be a mandatory meeting TODAY, June 5 at 3 PM in the Social Studies Bowl. This meeting will go over the summer assignment and book check out procedures. Again, this meeting is mandatory. If you cannot attend this meeting, it is your responsibility to contact Mr. Nelson before the end of the school year. Thank you!
Have you ever wanted to learn how to play an instrument? Or wanted to learn how to read music? Well now is your chance! The Band Program is looking for a few good barons to fill their remaining spots for next year’s marching band show. You already know that our FV Band is one of the best in all of Southern California- now YOU can be a part of the greatness! Even if you have never played an instrument before, WE WILL teach you! Come to room 310 any time from now till the end of school, and talk to Mr. Wampler or Mr. Irons.
All returning students should have turned in their registration packets by now. If you have NOT, you must turn it into the front office ASAP. Those who didn’t turn in a yellow emergency card, WILL NOT be able to pick up their ID card and schedule during August registration. The office has extra emergency cards if you lost your packet.
HEY SENIORS – Only 150 of you have ordered your final transcript. What are you waiting for? Stop procrastinating. Go to fvhs.com/transcripts and follow the instructions. Make sure you specify you want the transcript for the “NEXT GRADING PERIOD.” Don’t delay do it today! See the Registrar if you have any questions.

Attention students taking AP Spanish next year: if you did not attend this past Friday’s meeting, please be sure to attend today’s AP Spanish info meeting in Mr. Diecidue’s classroom, room 204.
Future juniors and seniors don’t miss a great opportunity! Earn High School credits taking a fun and challenging ROP course! Gain experience and knowledge in your chosen career field before you graduate from high school. Get skills and training that will show your dedication and commitment to your career path on college applications and job resumes. There are only two weeks remaining to sign up for a class. Registration for the 2013 fall semester will be done during summer break. For questions or to sign up for a class, see Ms Sanders in the Career Center.
FVHS Theatre will be ending the year with two final performances this Friday and Saturday. The shows will be a series of one acts performed in room 309 by the Theatre 1 and the advanced theatre classes. Show times are Friday and Saturday at 3:00 and 6:00. Tickets are $3 for one show and $5 for two. See Mr. Zick or Brandon Khong for more information.
Attention Seniors… PSS Imaging will be taking pictures of you in your cap & gown at Baccalaureate before the ceremony from 2:30 – 3:30pm. To minimize standing in line, we are asking seniors with last names from A – L to have their pictures taken from 2:30 to 3:00 p.m., and seniors from M – Z to have their pictures taken from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. The picture prices were mailed home with the Senior Letter.

Aloha Seniors! The Senior Luau is tomorrow, June 4th from 4:00-7:00pm on the pool deck. Dogzilla Food truck will be there, so bring your swim suit, cash for the food truck and pick up your yearbooks!

If you are planning on being in Ms. Battig’s AP Environmental Science class next year, please attend an informational meeting in room 509 at lunch EITHER Tuesday June 4th or Wednesday June 5th. You will get information on your summer assignment and the field study portion of the class.
Attention all students signed up for Mr. Eggert’s AP Computer Science class next year—reminder to print out a copy of your transcripts from the parent student portal, write your email address on it, and place it in Mr. Eggert’s mailbox ASAP, you cannot be considered further for enrollment in AP Computer Science if this is not completed by today.

Barons! Don’t miss our Vocal Music Program’s Broadway Finale – this year held at the beautiful Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. There is only ONE performance…and it’s happening TONIGHT at 7:00 p.m.!!!!!! All seven of our terrific choirs will be rockin’ the stage with lots of amazing singing & dancing! Tickets are $15 or $10 and are available for sale by the Choir Room TODAY from 12:15-1:30 p.m.! Don’t miss our spectacular final show of the year!!
