2013 is winding down to its last hours which mean Barons are reflecting upon their year and thinking of their goals and ambitions for the new year. Whether their resolutions may be large or small, students put much thought into them and hope to fulfill them.
“My New Year’s resolution is to go create the perfect time and opportunity to do something great.” – Michelle Nguyen (‘16)
“My resolution is to study more and try harder in school so that I can get a job this year.” – Alisha Stevens (‘16)
“I would like to get straight A’s for the second semester.” – Steven Nguyen (‘17)
“…to end my addiction to League of Legends and workout and find a girlfriend.” – James Phan (‘16)
“My plans are to do well in school this new year and help out my friends.” – Mathew Chau (‘16)
“I think I want to start pushing myself harder to get organized, with my life really. I think the key to success is keeping things together right? So if I begin organizing things like school work I’ll have it ready at hand and if I organize my room I’ll have more space, and if I organize my plans I’ll have more time to do other things.”- Audrey Vu (‘16)
“In 2014, I just want to be a better person to everyone and improve my attitude towards things. I definitely want to be more positive and open minded!” – Kayley Matsumoto (‘17)
I don’t like that this article only featured responses from 9th and 10th graders. This school has plenty of juniors and seniors – why not feature their resolutions also? A wide variety of students should be featured, especially in an article of this nature; otherwise, it just seems like poor journalism.
