Last Tuesday, students of English teachers David Theriault and Sean Ziebarth showcased their “What If?” projects at the Innovation Symposium.
The students have spent the school year working on the projects, which ranged from baking to designing clothes to making a working 3D printer.
“It was cool to be able to share our projects and also seeing everyone else projects too,” said Kayla Borack (’16) who presented her innovation project at the event.
The event featured “table talks,” where groups set up a showcase of their project and presentations to an audience of students, parents, and teachers.
The event was held from 7-8 p.m. in the library, bringing mixed feelings about the venue.
“The pro of the library was that it made the event look welcoming and successful with so many people but it was too successful with so many people the library seem too crowded and hectic,” said Anthony Cort (’16), who presented at the seminar.
The event allowed students to show their teachers and peers the final result of their hard work throughout the year, which Theriault and Ziebarth plan to continue next year.
