Senior Natalie Scott is the Associated Student Body (ASB) president at Fountain Valley High School (FVHS) for 2018-2019 and plans on putting her goals into action for this upcoming school year.
To Scott, ASB is a big part of her life because this is her third year being a part of the program and can’t wait to contribute as president this year.
Scott was on spirit commission both her sophomore and junior year. She decided to run for executive council her senior year.
When she heard news that she made president, she was ecstatic that she now has the opportunity to represent FVHS and really connect with the student culture.
“I’m really excited for what’s to come. I want to do things that are so different and I want to bring so much new to this campus and love and spirit and culture. I want to make history this year,” said Scott.
As president, Scott explains that her intentions for this school year is to “beat the box” meaning to have students discover many opportunities that the school offers and to expand the possibilities outside of FVHS. She plans on making this year the most memorable by being involved with as many students she can on campus.
Although being on ASB is very time consuming and involves a lot of hard work, Scott always has a positive attitude and keeps her ASB council organized and efficient.
“The fact that I even get to be on ASB is just so heartwarming and I absolutely love it. I can’t wait to see all the students smiling having excited faces after they go to events. I am just really looking forward to the best year Fountain Valley High School has ever had,” said Scott.
With her unique charm and positive attitude, she plans on being a president that people can remember forever by bringing the student culture to its absolute finest and making people smile everyday for being a part of the Baron culture.
