At some points, it’s really stressful in school and in band; sometimes I wanna quit and think ‘maybe I should’ve done something else and gone the easier route.’ But then, near the end of the season, I look back and think, ‘wow I’m so proud of myself. I really did that,’ and that’s a pretty good feeling. So other than stressing out, I really want to be proud of myself more. I want to become more confident and really just take things on with a better attitude,” said freshman Jennifer Hirahara. Also, to get [my] grades up,” said sophomore Justin Nguyen. Photo by Joud Baghal.
