On Tuesday, the varsity girls’ golf team secured a victory against Newport Harbor High School with an outstanding score of 182-225. It was the second best round for the Barons this year.
Key players include senior Misty Le and sophomore Milan Nguyen, both of whom shot 36, as well as sophomore Madison Le, who shot a 4 under par 32.
The Barons were confident in the day’s matches and delivered strong performances. In fact, all of the team’s members scored 40 or under, a feat never accomplished before.
“The game was good. I feel like if we had a little more time to practice, we would have more solid scores as a team, but overall, everybody played well and I’m so proud of the work ethic that we have as a team” said senior Misty Le.
Their efforts for the season so far will pay off when League begins next week.
