Fun, animated worlds. Evil junk food monsters. Cute baby radishes. What more could you want from a video game? Dadish offers all of these and more.

In Dadish, the objective is to find all of a dad radish’s baby radishes that escaped from their home. To do so, you must join Dadish in his adventures through different obstacles and landscapes. With each successfully completed level, Dadish finds another of his beloved children.

This may sound like a somewhat simple game so far, but its storyline sets it apart from any other game you have experienced. Dadish interacts with his enemies and children in conversations during each level, engaging in hilarious conversations that are guaranteed to make you laugh. For example, one baby radish has a random passion for sea cucumbers.

Not to mention, the game has the perfect level of difficulty. For people who don’t have much experience with similar games, the levels start out pretty easy. However, for those who make it through the early stages quickly, the later levels present more of a challenge. In total, there are four different worlds, each containing 10 separate levels that become progressively more difficult.

The adorable animation draws you into the scene with Dadish, whether it is a magical forest or dark dungeon. Throughout the levels, you encounter every type of junk food villain, from flying pizza to exploding soda cans. To end the game, you must defeat the ultimate antagonist in a battle with a bottle of syrup named Lord Durnak.

With just two arrows on the screen to control the direction that the radish moves, the game is super easy to learn. However, while the game is fairly simple, its creator Thomas Young added a few levels of complexity by hiding a star in each level. If the player collects the star on every level, they can unlock “possum mode” where they play as a possum rather than a dad radish.

Additionally, you can play in timed mode to keep track of how quickly you can complete each level. Once you complete every level, you earn a special parade with Dadish and his children as the credits are displayed below.

If you still cannot get enough of Dadish, then you should download Dadish 2 and Dadish 3, which offer similarly enjoyable experiences. These Dadish sequels introduce fun characters such as “Momato,” Dadish’s wife who had been absent from the family for the past few years, or “The Dolphin The Dolphin,” a strange dolphin who helps Dadish throughout his adventures. They also present different villains and worlds to explore, constantly creating a new excitement for the player.

Overall, Dadish is one of the most wholesome yet challenging video games that you can find. It is perfect to play in short increments of time that you find available throughout the day and does not need to be too time consuming. To play Dadish, you can download it on smartphones or tablets for free or even pay to install it on a Nintendo Switch, XBox or Playstation.
