This year, Fountain Valley High School (FVHS)’s Prom was held on May 20th at the Richard Nixon Library. There were lots of fun activities available, including 360 photo booths, ice cream carts, caricature artists and more. Here are some thoughts of FVHS students on how their Prom experience went.

“I think [prom] was very fun, the venue was very pretty and I think this year’s activities were very interactive. The DJ was also really good. I would rate this year’s prom a 9.5/10,” senior Duyen Ta said. “I thought prom was very fun. The venue was really beautiful and the mosh pit area was very good. I think that out of my four years at Fountain Valley, that was probably the only DJ I’ve liked at a dance,” senior Mikey Smith said. “I thought [prom] was very fun and there were no complaints about it. Everyone had something to do, there were a lot of bands, lots v of things to just go around and do to have fun. I would definitely say that it was the best dance out of my four years,” senior Jack Todd said. “The scene was really pretty and the venue was beautiful. It was also a lot more lively than other dances. The music was also much better than the past dances,” junior Chloe Hiller said. “I thought [prom] was really, really fun. The music the DJ played was very good too, especially because he was around the same age as us,” junior Isabella Abrahams said. “I thought [prom] was sick and super cool. All the events we had really made me have a whole lot of fun. Crazy lit movie,” junior Gibson Rath said. “This year’s prom was the best dance of my entire high school career because the DJ was really amazing and he played excellent songs. Also since it was my senior prom, I just really enjoyed the time with my friends and all the other seniors at our school,” senior Ian Bui said. “I thought prom was fantastic! The venue was a little weird because it felt very American. But we do live in America, so that is okay. The venue was nice. The DJ was nice. The live band was fantastic. They were very sweet and cool, and they played really good music,” senior Benjamin N. Pham said. “Prom was a very fun experience because it was my last prom and the Richard Nixon Library was a good venue. They had lots of appetizers, the DJ was pretty cool too. The tour of Nixon’s house was pretty neat. And security was nice, they weren’t too strict but they were strict enough,” senior Jacob Parker said.
