Looking for a cozy study spot where delicious, rich beverages fuel your focus? We found just the hidden gem at Airoma Cafe, a locally owned Vietnamese coffee shop nestled in Little Saigon of Westminster.
As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a blend of comforting aromas and a warm, inviting ambiance. The variety of seating options paired with a gentle buzz and friendly chatter created an atmosphere that’s inviting and suitable for everyone, whether it’s to study or even just hang out. Beyond its interiors and trendy vibes, the real question is: will Airoma Cafe live up to its hype in terms of what they do best- their drinks?
Airoma Cafe emphasizes its carefully crafted drinks with premium ingredients, a blend of teas and leaves imported from different parts of Asia to truly prioritize bringing their customers high-quality taste. The cafe uses natural ingredients alongside their house-made mixtures, which is what makes all their drinks so unique. They are known for their ceremonial-grade matcha and authentic Vietnamese coffee, crafting each drink with care.
Although they provide options to add toppings to their wide selection of drinks, I chose not to include them in my reviews to focus solely on the pure taste of the drinks themselves.
Matcha Einspanner
As a matcha fanatic, I hold high standards and hopes when ordering this drink as not only are they infamous for their matchas, but this drink, in particular, is one of their most ordered and seemed to be the talk of the crowd.
To say the least, this drink far exceeded my expectations. The flavor of the rich soy milk sweetened lightly with cream melted into their vibrant matcha mixture perfectly. You could taste the high quality of the matcha right from the first sip. It was very natural and the sweetener did not overpower the flavor. The drink was not too bitter either, which tends to be the problem with most other matcha.
I rate this matcha a 10/10 and it quickly became my favorite matcha spot. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves matcha.
Banana Coffee
To further explore the varieties on their menu, I ordered one of their signature coffees. Personally, I love anything banana flavored and was excited to try this unique combination of flavors. I will note, however, I am not much of a coffee person but am always open to new drinks.
The banana flavor was surprisingly strong; however, I am unsure of how well it blended with the coffee flavor. Both appeared very bold in flavor and it was pretty overpowering. The thing that stood out to me the most was its aftertaste, as it was sort of bitter and sharp- but I could tell that its quality had potential.
I rate this drink a 6.5/10 and recommend going for one of their other coffees if you need a quick pick-me-up.
Mango Green Tea
Lastly, I went for one of their teas. I chose their Mango Green Tea, which consisted of Jasmine green tea and real mango infusions.
I love a good, refreshing iced tea that gets me going and this did the job. The flavors were very light and earthy with hints of fruit. It was very crisp and just the right amount of sweetness that I looked for. It gave me a nice break from heavier, creamier drinks and felt very hydrating.
I rate this drink a solid 8/10. If you’re in need of something refreshing, I would go for one of their green teas.
To wrap it up, whether you want your daily grind or a quick boost, Airoma Cafe has you covered. I believe this business truly puts customers and enhancing their experiences first. Check this place out the next time you are in need of a rejuvenating beverage!
