“Fuel for your Day, One Sip Away” is the motto of Baron Brew, a business stemming from the class Virtual Enterprise 1. With Baron Brew, not only will you be fueled with one sip, but also with one bite.
Although the company initially started by selling coffee, it now offers sweets, such as mini cakes and cookies.
“We realized that many people do not have enough time to eat a full breakfast in the morning,” Baron Brew said.“By offering pastries, we believe it provides a filling option that goes well with our drinks.”
In the past, they have sold a matcha-flavored “Jumbo Grinch Cookie,” inspired by the Christmas season, a “Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie,” cookie butter mini cakes and ube mini cakes.
“[Our flavors are based] off customer feedback, popularity, seasonal ideas and what we think our school community will enjoy most,” Baron Brew said.
These pastries sold by Baron Brew are always baked fresh and feature weekly rotating flavors. Not only are there pastries with rotating flavors, but there are also specialty drinks — in the past, the company has sold pumpkin spice and sugar cookie.
Students across Fountain Valley High School (FVHS) can purchase these drinks and pastries from Baron Brew during their zero period class when members of the company stop by.
“Food is sold during zero period because it takes place in the morning before the main school day begins,” Baron Brew said. “This allows us to reach the FVHS community early, when many don’t have time to leave campus for food.”
In the future, Baron Brew plans to expand their drinks menu to include options like iced tea and juice, allowing more variety.
The next time you’re hungry and haven’t eaten breakfast, consider purchasing from Baron Brew in the morning. They might stop by your class and deliver.
