Project X

*Spoiler Alert*

A party happens in Pasadena. Four guys wreck the whole neighborhood. They also get some drugs and get in trouble. The End.

The movie was like a gnome being smashed on your face while your listening to Pink Floyd’s “Money.”

The producers and the directors of the Hangover took the Hangoverbasically to suburbia. There was more action going on in a smaller scene and more things to capture using the hand-held cam in which Dax played by Dax Flame, (picked during an opening casting call) was capturing.

This was a very-low budget movie, in fact it could’ve been advertised as a very expensive indie movie.  There was an open-casting so there were rarely any A-list actors in the cast with some B-list and maybe some C-list actors. In Project X, there was no make-up because the open-cast was just told to party for hours straight, to mimic what a “super-party,” would be like.

The ideas of the movie were over the top.  The three main characters (Thomas, Costa, and J.B.) were essential and pivotal to the movie but were a misnomer and beside the point to this epic party.  It was the little things that counted like having the Karate Kid play a security guard, ecstasy in the gnome, The Pursuit of Happiness playing in the background, and a cute name for the dog that correlated with Hagus or Rufus. It was the little things that gave the movie two thumbs up!
