The Career Center is planning a field trip to Concordia University next Friday for students interested in a business career.
Last Monday, FVHS Academic Decathlon won big and placed second in their overall division.
On Saturday February 15 and February 16, FVHS wrestling placed 6th out of 30 schools at Oak Hills High School for CIF.
On February 15 and 16, FVHS Theatre competed at the annual Shakespeare Festival hosted by Chapman University.
The Barons have broken the school record of having 11 wrestlers in the finals this year. All Frosh/Soph, JV, and Varsity wrestled their matches respectively. The last time a record was broken here in Fountain Valley was in ’96 with 8 wrestlers in the finals.
Steele Escobedo (’13) is the first Baron wrestler in 25 years to make it to the Five Counties finals.
Last Thursday, Baron’s Wrestling went against Edison in the gym. The Barons came out victorious, winning at 45-32.
With finals beginning tomorrow, Barons are studying and working hard to ace their tests.
On Saturday’s competition, Steele Escobedo (’13) made it to final rounds and won 1st place in his weight division of 145 lbs. This is the first time in 25 years that a Baron Wrestler has made it to the Five Counties Finals.
