On March 5, FVHS senior Desiree Castell sat in Joshua Alvaro’s second period AP macroeconomics class as a crowd of adults walked in. A roar of applauses followed the big news.

Like thousands of students around the nation, FVHS students have organized a walkout that will take place tomorrow at the Bowl. With the impending walkout, here’s more information on the reasons behind the walkout’s creation and our rights to protest as students.
