Edison overpowers Fountain Valley in league clash

Fountain Valley fought hard but fell 5-13 to Edison, with standout moments in both singles and doubles play.

The Barons played five sets against the Sunny Hills Lancers and won with a score of 3-2 on Friday.

Both boys’ and girls’ varsity dominated the Sailors with a combined score of 187-153 on Tuesday.

The Barons were overwhelmed with Newport’s kills but gave a good fight before ultimately succumbing 1-3 on Tuesday.

Fountain Valley fell short 6-12 against Huntington Beach on Thursday.

The Barons played a home game against Pacifica High School and swept the Mariners 3-0 on Wednesday.

With a strong performance on Friday, boys’ volleyball swept their first game of the league season 3-0.

Despite a strong effort on their home court, Fountain Valley boys’ tennis fell to Mater Dei 12-6 on Tuesday.

Fountain Valley boys’ volleyball swept the Garden Grove Argonauts in a 3-0 victory on Monday.

The Barons lost by six in their second game of the season with a final score of 181-187.
