Baron wrestler wins at Five Counties, makes FV history

Last Thursday, Baron’s Wrestling went against Edison in the gym. The Barons came out victorious, winning at 45-32.
On Saturday’s competition, Steele Escobedo (’13) made it to final rounds and won 1st place in his weight division of 145 lbs. This is the first time in 25 years that a Baron Wrestler has made it to the Five Counties Finals.
The Barons zip past the Chargers to bring home the “bell,” 63-58.
On Tuesday, January 15, Varsity Girls Soccer played Edison High School and lost 0-3, in a frustrating game.
On Wednesday, January 9, Girls Water Polo took on Newport Harbor High School; despite the young team’s attempts to overpower their opponents, they lost the game 1-11.
The girls battle the Chargers on January 15, 2013 at home. A big effort came from the Barons, but it wasn’t enough to triumph as Edison takes this game, 46-58.
The Fountain Valley boys proved their dominance today over Los Alamitos January 11 at home for their third sunset league game with a 59-47 victory.
On Friday, Boys Soccer continued their season with another league game against Los Alamitos, winning with a score of 2-0.
