Driven by her captivating experience in her middle school yearbook class and a background in photography, junior Christine Garcia joined Baron Banner in her sophomore year to hone her skills as a writer.
Recently, Garcia developed an interest in digital designing such as making posters and templates on Canva, which she finds both engaging and enjoyable.
Her weekends typically are spent catching up on schoolwork and studying. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and TV shows, considering herself an amateur movie reviewer. Garcia uses Letterboxd to track and review the films she watches.
“My biggest fear is not being the person I want to be, not being someone I can be proud of, and not being the best friend I can be,” Garcia said.
In addition, she values maintaining mental health and having a positive mindset.
‘’Keeping a healthy mindset is important to me because that’s how I build new habits and keep my sanity,’’ Garcia said.
Garcia’s commitment to personal growth and her diverse interests make her a valuable member of Baron Banner.
