Freshman Hannah Lazarte is the embodiment of a Baron Banner writer. That’s not a statement to make lightly, but it’s true—she has a budding passion for telling people’s stories, and an untapped interest in writing, the core tenets of journalism here at FVHS.
“I like telling people’s stories and what’s going on in their life,” Lazarte said.
Lazarte says that most people know her for her brother, and she recognizes that her brother has been a positive influence in her life.
“I looked up to my brother a lot because he showed me what to do in a lot of my life,” Lazarte said. “He’s really nice and smart, and he always tries his best.”
But with her goodhearted qualities, Lazarte is sure to make a name for herself in the community.
Outside of Baron Banner, Lazarte enjoys baking cookies, playing video games and spending time with her friends. When it comes to friends, Lazarte prefers to surround herself with like-minded, intelligent people.
