Junior Jessica Nguyen utilizes her creative wits in settings both in and out of the classroom. A considerate human, Nguyen is also an avid member of her community and never fails to give back.
Nguyen is a part of KIWIN’S, a service club, as the corresponding secretary, Chick-Fil-A Leadership Academy, whose aim is to teach and build leadership skills, and National Honors Society, an organization that works to honor students of excellence and promote leadership. That is why it’s no surprise that Nguyen enjoys volunteer work and helping others.
“My favorite part about Fountain Valley High School is the people. Everyone is really kind and not judgemental,” said Nguyen.
In Baron Banner, Nguyen has a knack for writing features. Using her creativity, Nguyen gives a voice to interesting people and subjects in a storytelling manner. Notably, Nguyen has written “Throwback shows and movies to watch during quarantine” and “Fashion trends that originated from other cultures.” Aside from composing feature articles, Nguyen hones her imagination via graphic design.
“I like drawing people, especially people I know,” said Nguyen.
As the social media manager for Baron Banner, Nguyen continues to utilize her talent through aesthetic endeavors.
Looking to the future, Nguyen foresees herself working a job where she is fulfilled and happy. No matter the circumstance, Nguyen is sure to have a future in which she helps others and may artistically live life. A keen member of numerous clubs and always willing to lend a hand, Jessica Nguyen will invariably surprise you with her distinctive personality.
