CIF-SS said that although championships are cancelled, fall sports are able to play out their seasons if permitted by state and local government guidelines when COVID-19 conditions improve.
CIF announced that practices and competitions for high school fall sports will be postponed until at least Jan. 1.

The boys’ and girls’ cross country teams saw outstanding performances from their frontrunners in all levels, with the boys’ frosh-soph and girls’ varsity dominating the field.
Although the boys’ and girls’ varsity teams fell short of their expectations for the meet, the day saw strong performances and many personal records (PRs) from the team’s lower levels.
Competing on their home turf against high competition, the Barons saw mixed performances consistent with the difficult terrain and hill climb of the course.
