Boys’ basketball defeated long-time rival, Edison High School, with a victory of 60-52, advancing them to the second round of CIF playoffs.
Girls’ basketball faced a strong competition from the Edison Chargers this Thursday which ended with a loss of 38-49.
The girls’ swim team demolished the Chargers with a score of 110-60 while the boys were defeated with a score of 74-96. Key races came from Phoebe Munholland, Tyler Vuong, Sarah Hopkins, and Ivan Nghi.
The team was able to kick off their season with high hopes and spirits with a final score of 11-7 against Edison High School.
