The Barons’ swim team faced the Oilers on Tuesday, March 22, at their first dual meet of the season.
The girls’ swim team demolished the Chargers with a score of 110-60 while the boys were defeated with a score of 74-96. Key races came from Phoebe Munholland, Tyler Vuong, Sarah Hopkins, and Ivan Nghi.
FVHS girls’ swim was victorious against Edison with a score of 89-91 while the boys lost with a score of 73-91. Key races came from Sarah Hopkins, Phoebe Munholland and Ivan Nghi.
The team achieved a resounding victory over the Seahawks with an overall score of 263-51.
In the last dual league meet, girls swim came out victorious with a score of 94-76 despite a swimmer’s disqualification, while boys swim loses by two points with a score of 86-84.
