Girls’ basketball conquers Corona del Mar Sea Queens

The Barons held onto a fourth quarter lead to secure a 49-42 win on Senior Night, marking their first win against Sunset Surf League competition.

Karley Waite scored a layup with 5 seconds remaining in the game to seal the 59-58 win for the Barons.

The Barons won against the Vaqueros in a close game with a score of 47-43.

In their first home game of the season, junior Karley Waite’s 25 points led the Barons to a win in a closely contested game.

In just her second year of playing basketball, sophomore Karley Waite makes it to the varsity level on the Lady Barons’ basketball team.

Baron Basketball wins over Laguna Beach in close game

Senior Mary Nguyen’s 11 points and sophomore Karley Waite’s 10 points led the scoring for the Barons’ 41-31 win over the Huntington Beach Oilers.

The Barons lost a close game to the El Toro Chargers on Thursday night.

On Tuesday, girls’ varsity basketball won their first home game against University High School.

Despite most of the team returning from injury, Barons girls’ basketball lost against Buena Park High School with a score of 48-69.
