California plans to add Southeast Asian studies to curriculum, including Vietnamese refugee experience
California is developing its first ever Southeast Asian curriculum, set to be done by September 2025. Through extensive outreach to the Asian community for feedback, the model curriculum is on track be a collaborative and extensive push towards adequate Southeast Asian historical representation.
