At their final conference meet of the season, both the boys’ and girls’ cross country teams dominated their leagues across levels. Although the boys just missed qualifying for CIF, the girls’ varsity team did so easily and are now heading to CIF Prelims.
On their home course at Huntington Central Park, the boys’ cross country team gave a strong performance on all levels at the 37th annual Central Park Invitational.
On Saturday, Oct. 6th, the FVHS cross country and track and field program will host the 37th annual Central Park Invitational. In recent years, this event has grown tremendously to become one of the premier meets on the West Coast and in the country.
Although the boys’ cross country team made a valiant effort, the brutal hill climb proved too much for them at the Brea Invitational.
At one of the largest meets in the nation, the boys’ cross country team gave an incredible set of performances on all levels.
