Girls’ Water Polo is clawed by the Los Alamitos Griffins

On Dec. 16, 2025, Fountain Valley High School Girls’ Water Polo (0-1) faced off against the Western High School Pioneers (0-0). Although the Lady Barons put up an intense fight in the water, they were ultimately overpowered, ending the game with a final score of 2-10.
On Monday Oct. 22, Fountain Valley High School boys’ water polo just fell short of securing a win at their second to last game of the season.
On Tuesday, the Barons outscored the Dons by 15 goals in their 17-2 win.
The new FVHS pool, which had a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, has more lanes and a larger depth compared to the old pool.
To celebrate the Barons’ six seniors, the Barons cruised to a 15-7 victory after scoring 12 unanswered goals in the first two periods.
The Barons outscored the Mustangs eight goals to two in the second half but ultimately fell short in the 8-10 defeat.

On Wednesday, Sept. 28, FVHS varsity boys’ water polo lost a narrow game against the Marina Vikings, being down only one point by the end.
