Ray Bray Aquatic Center completes year-long pool remodel

The new FVHS pool, which had a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, has more lanes and a larger depth compared to the old pool.

To celebrate the Barons’ six seniors, the Barons cruised to a 15-7 victory after scoring 12 unanswered goals in the first two periods.

The Barons outscored the Mustangs eight goals to two in the second half but ultimately fell short in the 8-10 defeat.

Senior Riley Bridges hurdles obstacles on and off the field propelling her towards accomplishing her goals.

The Barons faced a challenge but did their best to reach their goals for the game.

On Wednesday, Sept. 28, FVHS varsity boys’ water polo lost a narrow game against the Marina Vikings, being down only one point by the end.

The team won a total of two games to place fourth overall. Key players included Jessica Jang, Jianna Balta and Lexi Cooper.

Girls’ water polo pre-season game against Cerritos High School resulted in a resounding 11-3 victory.

Despite their best efforts, Barons’ varsity water polo team was defeated by Edison 5-15 on Wednesday.

The Barons were victorious with a score of 9-2.
