As a freshman, Laiyah Stoddardt-Cordova has already advanced to varsity wrestling status, and even debuted in a Master’s Tournament and the California Interscholastic Federation.
Fountain Valley High School placed first as a team with a total of 282 points at CIF-SS Individuals Inland Division. Six wrestlers competed in the finals, five of which won first place.
Fountain Valley Barons placed third as a team with 198.5 points at the Five Counties Wrestling Tournament with six wrestlers scoring in the top eight, three of which competed in the finals.
