Varsity baseball won against Newport Harbor with a score of 6-2 on Wednesday, March 20th.
Sophomore Hunter Margain went up one run in 5 innings. Justin Cobb earned his third save of the season by getting the final four outs.
Jordan Lucio had one RBI, and John Shattles led the offense with two hits and three RBI’s. His two run home runs in the bottom of the 6th put the game away.
The Barons are 8-1 overall and ranked 3rd in the county. They are tied for first place in the Sunset League.
